Week 6: Lesson and Assignments
Adjectives
During our week 6 lesson, we will become familiar with Adjectives. An adjective is a word that describes an
animal, person, thing, or thought.
Adjectives include words that describe what something looks like and
feels like to touch, smell, or taste. Adjectives can be colors or words that
describe temperatures and sizes. Try describing yourself. Are you tall, short,
fast, smart, bored, or tired? These are all adjectives, because they describe a
person – you!
Examples:
The beautiful
butterfly flew away.
The warrior was fierce.
