WEEK OF: November 2nd - 6th, 2015

 Our Pumpkin Character Reports 

were FANTASTIC 

**In Reading next week we will continue with our story Kumak’s Fish.  The Test will be on Thursday 11/5.  

** We will start our new list in Spelling with a Pretest on Monday 11/2.  The new list will be made up of words that are Plural Nouns.  Plurals are formed by adding –s, -es, -ies. The Final Test will be on Friday 11/6 as well as a Phonics Test for the rules of making nouns Plural.

**In Grammar we will finish up on Capitalization with a Test on Tuesday 11/3. We will end the week discussing making Nouns plural.  Plural and Irregular Plurals will be our focus. 

**Next week we will continue with Topic 3 subtraction of 3- digit numbers and subtracting across zeros.  We will also review estimating differences of 3 digit numbers as well as word problems. We will be testing these skills on Thursday 11/5.  Our next Topic will be a short one on MONEY!

**In Science we are reviewing Chapter 6 Lessons 3 and 4 and will be taking a Test on Friday 11/6.  Please study vocabulary and a Review Sheet that will come home next week.
