WEEK OF: November 16th - 20th, 2015

Quick Look at this week:

**In Reading next week we will continue with the story Amazing Bird Nests.  We will Test on Thursday 11/19.   

** We will start our new list in Spelling with a Pretest on Monday 11/16.  The new list will be made up of words that follow the VCV pattern.  The Final Test will be on Friday 11/20 as well as a Phonics Test for the VCV rule.

**In Grammar we are continuing making Singular nouns Plural with those that follow the rules 1. Most nouns add an s, 2. Words ending in –ch,-sh, -x, -s, or –ss add es, and 3. Words ending in consonant y change the y to an  i and add es  as well as those Irregulars that don’t follow these rules. We will have a Test on Wed. 11/18.

**Keep that piggy bank out!  We will still be working on Money next week in Math. We will compare amounts, add, subtract, and make change.  We will be taking the Test on Money Tuesday 11/24.
