Our vocab quiz will be on Wed. 2/12/14 and our Selection test will be Thur. 2/13/14. You can listen to our story by clicking on the following link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30012488/READING%20STORIES/UNIT%203%20STORIES/8-03%20Night%20Letters.mp3

**Grammar – We continue to focus on Subject- Verb Agreement in Grammar.  Grammar quiz will be Tuesday 2/11/14.

The subject and the verb in a sentence must work together. When the subject
and verb work together, they agree.

  • To make most present tense verbs agree with singular subjects or he, she, or it,
add -s. If the subject is a plural noun or I, you, we, or they, the present tense
verb does not end in -s.

Examples:

A snake slithers out of the grass.

More snakes slither out of the grass.

This Investigation is short and sweet. We will be observing the growth of our plants as we move on to other things in Science.
