WEEK OF: October 15th - 19th, 2012

* Our Spelling List words this week are words with ou and oy.  List words are coward, however, employ, thousand, avoid, proud, poison, prowl, amount, voyage, shower, annoy, mountain, broil, appoint, turmoil, chowder, bounce, choice, and hour. SPELLING NEWS - We will also begin reviewing our Unit 1 list words for a UNIT TEST next week.  Students will receive a Unit 1 Spelling review list on Wednesday.   Please begin to review these list words for a test on Tuesday 10/23/12.

GRAMMAR NEWS – We will begin reviewing Unit 1 skills for a UNIT TEST on Tuesday of next week.  Please review the study guide that students will receive on Wednesday of this week.  Students will be tested on all skills presented in this Unit: Sentences / Fragments; Subjects and Predicates; Statements and Questions; Commands and Exclamations; and Compound Sentences.
