* This week in Spelling our focus is Contractions: we’d, would’ve, you’ll, can’t, they’d, didn’t haven’t, I’d, should’ve, wasn’t, when’s, you’d, let’s, you’ve, could’ve, needn’t, hasn’t, he’d, she’d, and they’ll ----- Pretest Monday 1/14/13 and Final test on Wed 1/16/13

 

* In Grammar, we are working on Verbs (Action and Linking Verbs) – Test on Thurs. 1/17/13

 

* In Reading, we are reading story “The Gardener” – This is a realistic fiction story.  Lydia Grace is our main character.  In the story, it is 1935 and Lydia is going to live with her Uncle Jim until her Papa finds a job as a result of the Great Depression – Test Friday   You can listen to our story at the following link: http://pesfroghall.org/The_Gardener.mp3
