WEEK OF: December 2nd - 5th, 2014

Reading - We will be starting our new story "Prudy's Problem" on Tuesday.  This story is an example of a fantasy.  We will be working on Drawing Conclusions and Questioning. 

Spelling - Our new list words are made up of Compound Words.  WE will take our pretest on Friday 12/5 and the final test will be the following Tuesday.

Grammar - We will be working on Irregular Plural Nouns when we return from break.  These nouns are the "rule breakers" - they do not follow the rules going from Singular to Plural form.

Math - We will be finishing up on Topic 9 Fractions next week.

Science - We will be working on Lesson 4 "How do plants use flowers or cones to reproduce? when we come back from break.
